Melodious music
Sathyam cinema complex was the venue for the audio release of “Bommalattam”. The event began with the screening of the trailer and the making of the film produced by Pandian and Dr. T. Rajan for Therkathi Kalaikoodam. Bharathiraja sa
id that he screened the film before it went for its final cut only for two persons - K. Balachander and Kamal Haasan. “They appreciated the film and I am happy about it,” said the director.
Nag Ravi’s Insight media has released the audio.
The album contains five songs and as the film has been made both in Hindi and Tamil, the music has been composed by Himesh Reshamiyya. Two of the songs however sound similar to a number from “Guru” composed by A.R. Rahman. The first song ‘Oh Nenjil Dola Doliya’ written by Thenmozhidass is the best with Thippu and Anuradha Sriram singing it. Snehan’s lyric does the magic in ‘Aaha Aaha Kannirendum’ sung by Karthik and Pop Shalini. ‘Va va thalaiva’ by Gayathri Iyer and written by Joe Mallury is a mass number. ‘Koyambedu Bensu’ by Vivega and sung by Mathangi is good in parts and the last number by Suchitra and written by Thenmozhi Dass is unimpressive.
