Inevitable

We do not hesitate to buy drinking water bottles and cans at relatiively higher rates.

But we are reluctant to accept a nominal increase in water tax. We should understand, water has to be pumped from the sources and carried over long distances, for which the cost of maintenance is increasing by the day.

Of late, many schemes have been introduced to serve the people. The hike in water tax appears to be inevitable and has to be accepted by the public.
