Drama The series features Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick
Star World will present an American television police drama series called “The Closer”. This series will star the 2007 Golden Globe Best Actress winner Kyra Sedgwick.
“The show focuses on a tough-talking Atlanta detective, Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, who moves to LA to head a Priority Homicide Division handling sensitive, high-profile murder cases. Despite a tendency to step on people’s toes, Johnson manages to convert even her strongest adversaries with her unique ability to get to the truth,” say the makers. Kyra plays the character Brenda, who with her “hard-nosed, take-no-prisoners approach to her job rubs her colleagues the wrong way”. The series premiers on October 28 at 10 p.m.
