Alliance Française de Trivandrum, in collaboration with the French Embassy, New Delhi, conduct Lire en Fête (Reading Festival), a festival dedicated to books and reading at 2.00 p.m., on October 27.
Each Fête is planned around a theme. The theme this year is ‘One City One Work.’ The programmes include ‘match the author,’ a quiz based on the exhibition called ‘French Cousins,’ which is on view at Alliance Française de Trivandrum, a reading session and French scrabble.
‘24 hours of television’ will be screened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day at Alliance Française de Trivandrum. ‘24 hours...’ is in the form of a documentary with English subtitles comprising sequences pertaining to eight different kinds of TV broadcastings. Contact : 2320666.
