Eureka is a new series on Star World
|
Check out the new sci-fi series on Star World. Called ‘Eureka’, it is based on a plot where the U.S. Government secretly relocates the world’s geniuses and their families to the Pacific Northwest town of Eureka. Here, daily life for
the inhabitants straddles the line between “absurd and ridiculous”. The secret is out when U.S. Marshal Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) gets stranded there after crashing his car while investigating the mysterious death of a resident. The town’s eccentric inhabitants unleash a scientific creation still unknown to the outside world, and Carter has to step in to restore order.
Along the way, viewers get to see facets of life in the town such as love, professional jealousy, addiction, depression and much more. The show is telecast on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
