Fa Miss Chennai 2007 Samyuktha Shanmuganathan is representing India at the World Miss University 2007 at Seoul, South Korea.
The finals
The finals will take place on November 1.
This is the 20th World Miss University pageant and VIBA, the event manager, has been sending its winners for the last five years. Medha Raghunath won the second runner up crown in 2003 at the same contest; Surya Dinkar and Ketki Chandavarkar, Miss Chennai winners, represented India in 2004 and 2005 respectively; and last year, Deepika Vasudevan brought home laurels by standing fourth overall in the competition.
One has to wait to see whether Samyuktha will bring home the title this year. Samyuktha’s wardrobe has been designed by Rehane.
Aarthi’s Design Studio has also enhanced her wardrobe with day and evening wear.
