The Dharani Kalotsavam will be on from November 1 to 5

The 6th Dharani Kalotsavam, organised by Society Dharani, will be held at the Kerala Fine Arts Hall, Kochi, from November 1-5. Sangeetha Nataka Akademi vice-chairman Kavalam Narayana Panicker will inaugurate the five-day festival.
On the inaugural day a dance performance ‘Panchatantra’ by Padmashri Dr. Anandsankar Jayant and group will be held. This will incorporate elements from various dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathakali, and Kuchipudi.
A Carnatic vocal concert by Hyderabad Sisters, Lalitha and Haripriya, will be held on the second day. The third day will feature a Bharatanatyam recital by Mythili Prakash.
Sheik Mahaboob Subhani and Kaleeshabi Mahaboob will present a nadaswaram concert on the fourth day. The curtains will fall on this year’s festival with a Kathak performance by Rajendra Gangani and his troupe.
Apart from the main performances there will be Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam performances three upcoming dancers. Aiswarya Narayanaswami (Nov. 2), Shanti Bijidal (Nov. 3) and Dr. Jyotsna Jaganath (Nov. 4). These performances will be held at 5.30 p.m.
