One would expect a beauty pageant winner to be always politically correct and diplomatic. Perhaps that’s why Neha Dhupia stands out. Her statements such as “In Bollywood Shahrukh and sex always sell,” have made headlines. She also made news with her debut in the sensual flick Julie. But lately, the actress has turned her attention to grabbing meaningful roles.

Neha says, “It is tough for an actor who starts with sensational roles to be perceived as a serious artiste. But my initial roles helped me in getting noticed by filmmakers.”

Neha is excited about her upcoming movie, Sanjay Gupta’s Dus Kahaniyaan where she is not worried about sharing the screen with 26 other actors.. “Every character has its own story so there’s nothing to be worried about,” she says.

She is also thrilled with her role in Ek Chalis Ki Last Local.
