Four Frames

The unit of Gautham Menon’s “Vaaranam Aayiram” has left for a month-long schedule in the U.S. The film produced by Oscar Ravichandran has Surya, Sameera Reddy, Ramya and Daniel Balaji in the lead. The songs are tuned by Gautham’s favourite Harris Jayaraj and recently a song was picturised on Surya and Sameera Reddy in Chennai. Gautham will shoot at the University of California, Berkeley Campus and a Danish village on the outskirts of the town, where a huge set has been created by art director Rajeevan. Says Surya: “ ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ will take me to the next level. It is the most exciting story that I have ever heard after ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and ‘Ghajini’. Gautham is one of my favourite directors and once again he is giving me an awesome author backed role.”
