An international festival where Indian and foreign DJs will spin electronic music

MR. VJ Nikhil Chinappa

The first international, electronic music festival, “Sunburn”, will be presented by Percept D’Mark at Goa, on December 28 and 29.

According to Shailendra Singh, Joint MD, Percept Holdings, “This festival aims to bring together some of the best Disc Jockeys (DJs) to one of the world’s most favoured tourist destination — Goa.”

In line with some of the largest international music festivals, the event is organised in partnership with Smirnoff and Nikhil Chinappa to bring a smashing international experience for the Indian audiences. With electronic music catching on in India, Sunburn will provide a platform for the DJs in India and across the world.

Says Nikhil Chinappa, partner and Creative Consultant – Content, Sunburn “We are trying to create the Global-Indian experience using top of the line audio (music) and visuals (projectors with graphics and imaging) in par with established International Music Festivals.”

‘Sunburn Festival, Goa 2007’ is a festival which will annually consolidate the best global talent (from India, Holland, Ibiza, UK, Austria, France, Finland, Australia, Sweden and Singapore) in India to celebrate music and foster a sense of community & harmony. An entertaining mélange; incorporating international and Indian maestros of electronic music.
