Family entertainer

Sathya Jyothi Thyagarajan, the producer who makes family entertainers, has launched his new film “Jeyam Kondaan”, directed by R.Kannan, a former assistant of Mani Ratnam. The film has “Unnale Unnale” fame Vinay who sports a mo ustache which gives him a new look, along with two leading ladies — Bhavana and Lekha Washington. It has music by Vidyasagar and ace cinematographer Balasubramaniyam is behind the lens. Says director R.Kannan: “ ‘Jeyam Kondaan’ is a youthful, fresh, romantic entertainer. It is altogether different from the usual romantic film. All the necessary ingredients such as peppy melodies, romance, comedy, sentiment and fights have been laced into this entertainer. We are shooting the film in Nagercovil and Chennai, and it should be ready for a summer 2008 release.”
