‘Thotta’ revived

Jeevan, who has been given the title “Mirattal Nayagan”, is the current flavour of Kollywood, especially after his portrayal of the angry young man with shades of grey in films such as “Thiruttu Payale” and “Naan Avanill ai” which became hits. Jeevan has become so popular with the distributors as an action hero that they have now resurrected an old film of his “Thotta”, which had been partly shot and then shelved. Directed by Selva, the film features Jeevan and the hot and happening Priya Mani. “Thotta” is the story of an innocent youth, who ends up as a gangster. It has the right mix — a larger-than-life hero, terrific action scenes and large dosages of glamour — to make it click with audiences.
