In “Rock & Roll”, releasing today, Mohanlal plays a drummer (a la Sivamani?) in a troupe which regroups after many years According to the writer and director Ranjit: “ ‘Rock & Roll’ is an out-and-out musical ente rtainer set in a Chennai milieu. It is shot in with a recording studio and the world of music directors as the background. It’s a fun movie with Mohanlal leading the pack of merry men consisting of Mukesh, Jagathy, Manoj.K.Jayan, Siddique, Lal and two girls, Lakshmi Rai and Shwetha Menon. It has great music by Vidyasagar.”
