It’s music at the click of a mouse. Saregama India will make available 4.6 million tracks on its soon-to-be-launched portal – www.saregama.com. This is apart from close to three lakh music tracks tha t Saregama itself owns.

Gavin Dabreo, Chief Marketing Officer says, “ www.saregama.com will provide users a holistic digital entertainment experience. With the growth of the digital medium, the portal will become a one stop shop for entertainment products.”

The portal allows users to download all music in exchange of Indian currency. With this Saregama India will be the only music company to provide downloading of music in Indian currency. Recently Saregama has also introduced a test pilot wherein users can download music through kiosks in Bangalore. There are plans to extend that to more than 1500 kiosks across India.
