On a spiritual plane

Srushti, the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Artisans Welfare Association, showcases its Spiritual Collection -2007, comprising rudrakshas, spatigams and auspicious malas.

The exhibition, which features more than 10,000 products priced from Rs. 15 to Rs. 15 lakh, is on till November 30 at Sudarshan Building, Ground Floor, 86, Chamiers Road, Alwarpet. It is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A 10 per cent discount is being offered on all items. The rudraksha range consists of a spectrum of mukhis from one to 21.

There are Ganesha rudrakshas, Gowri Shankar, Trijuti rudraksha and Saraswathi banda malas. Spatigams of different kinds such as spatigalingams, spatigabana, pyramids and figurines form part of the display. There are a variety of malas too such as red chandan, ruby, navarathna, blue sapphire, thulasi, kamala and sandal malas, besides other semi-precious stones.

The display also includes conches, figurines of popular deities and more.
