International Day for the Disabled

On the occasion of World Disabled Day on December 3, the Prathyasha Charitable Trust has planned a series of programmes in the State. The inaugural programme will be on November 24 with a pre-marital meet at Kozhikode.

On December 1, a cultural evening will be organised at the Durbar Hall Grounds at 6 p.m. The talents of the differently-abled participants such as singing, dancing, mimicry and cinematic dance will be on show. Beginning this year, the participants who excel in the activities will be given awards instituted by the Trust.

On December 10, there will be a job fair in Kochi to enable the differently abled to be self reliant and self sufficient, followed by a Mass Marriage in Thiruvananthapuram on December 15.
