FOUR FRAMES
Campus story
Balaji Sakthivel, who shot to fame with his second film “Kathal” that became a trend-setter, is all set to release his next film, “Kaloori”, for director Shankar’s home production, ‘S’ pictures. Balaji is one of the few directors in Tamil who has never chased stars, as he believes in the strength of his script for a film to succeed. Balaji worked on the script of “Kaloori” with practically all the newcomers for a year before venturing to shoot. The milieu for his new film is a college campus in a small town in Tamil Nadu. The lead actors are new faces Akil and Tamanna, who are said to have come up with knock-out performances. The music is by Joshua Sridhar who began composing only after Na.Muthukumar wrote the lyrics. Balaji shot the songs only after completing the entire talkie portion.
