The Alliance Française of Hyderabad and the Goethe Zentrum Hyderabad with the support of the Embassy of France in India and in collaboration with the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Kri Foundation Delhi and Moving Images present ‘Danzlenz Hyderabad’ a festival - synergising the spirit of dance and film.
A three-way choreography of movement, dancers and film makers enhancing the power and brilliance of dance. A rare package of videos from France, Germany, USA, Israel, and India, including one on Chandralekha, the path breaking dancer who passed away recently. The programme will be presented by Arshiya Sethi (Delhi), curator, KRI Foundation and dance critic.
The programme will be held at two venues in two formats: A select preview on November 25 from 4.00 p.m. – 6.00Pp.m. at Grill Room, Fusion 9, Road No. 1, Banjara Hills. Hi-tea available for Rs.150.
A two-day full programme (entry free of charge) on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 between 11.00a.m. and 4.00p.m. at Auditorium, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Public Gardens, Hyderabad.
Samskruti - a cultural forum for children is organising ‘Prathamaa’ - a workshop on early learning for parents and children by Karadi Tales Company On November 24 (Saturday) between 6.30 and 8.30 pm. at Saptaparni Plot
no.21, Road no.8 Banjara Hills. (66667707,66821789). The workshop focuses on early childhood. It provides insights into how the brain learns, the roles of intuitive and logical intelligences through unique interactive exercises. It also provides strategies to use nursery rhymes as development tools and makes your child an eager reader. Ideal for parents to-be and parents of 0-8 year olds.
The workshop will be followed by a musical session for kids and parents with Karadi Rhymes.
