Shemaroo, Rs.66
Shemaroo may term this video songs collection offering as “Garma Garam Hits”, but we don’t quite agree. There are some hit item numbers such as “Beedi Jalaiyile” and “Namak Ishq Ka” from Omkara but there are some poor selections have put a dampener If the frigid doll Diya Mirza fails to up the temperature in “Mujhe Tumse Mohabbat” in Tumsa Nahin Dekha, the dull “We Are Hot Very Hot” from No Entry is neither hot nor yet a hit. As for some of the other songs, who has even heard of “Mashuqa Rubi Mehbooba” from Asambhav and “Ya Habibi Finak” from Awara Paagal Deewana, which seem to be little more than pointless bellydancing numbers?
Some others like “Mujhme Bhi Hai Nasha” from Naksha, is steeped in obscenity, rather it borders on sleaze.
Yet another Bipasha Basu number from No Entry, “Ishq Di Gali Vich”, and “Deewanee Deewanee” from Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, are the more bearable of the lot. But then one Bipasha doesn’t make an album a “hot” stuff. One wouldn’t or shouldn’t think twice before giving the cold shoulder to this alleged “hot” compilation.
