Bharatgas organises Samayal Rani 2007 for the third consecutive year at Hotel Green Park. All women aged between 16 and 80, who have a passion for cooking, can participate. The contest will comprise events that revolve entirely on cooking. There are loads of titles to be won and prizes for the audience too!

The various titles to be won are ‘Bharatgas Samayil Rani’ for married participants aged between 18 and 80, which will have three rounds; ‘Bharatgas Samayil Ilavarasi’ which is open to school and college students aged below 20 and ‘Bharatgas Samayil Kiladigal’, an on-the-spot group cooking contest, to participate in which each group should comprise four members of the same family/friends. One member of every group must compulsorily be male. Only five groups will be selected in this round.

There is also a singing competition ‘Bharatgas Samayil Kuyil’ in which a participant has to sing a film song with lyrics that mention food, fruits or vegetables.
