Food festival Delicacies of the South dished out
The delicious flavour of the South is brought alive at the Southern Spice food festival at Hotel Taj. The traditional ambience and fragrance of flowers and agarbattis give a sublime feeling. Delicacies from Andhra, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are all part of the menu to provide an authentic feel of the cuisine from the South. Right from kebabs and biryanis of Andhra to Mangalore cuisine flavoured with tamarind, kokum and raw mangi and Kerala’s culinary expertise like meen pattichathu and the delicious appam. Priced at Rs.400 plus taxes for an adult and Rs. 275 for a child, the buffet dinner will have a new menu every day with eight vegetarian dishes along with accompaniments and three non-vegetarian delicacies, six types of salads and four dessert with unlimited pint beer. The food festival is on at Poolside from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. till November 30.
