As part of its effort to promote voluntary blood donation, Terumo Penpol is planning to reward the best ‘Club 25,’ on World AIDS Day.
The criteria for being considered for the award are: Your college should have a registered CLUB 25 unit/voluntary organisation unit that has adopted voluntary blood donation as an activity of their yearly programme.
A registered list of donors who are members of Club 25 must be maintained. The club should have a minimum of 100 new Club 25 donors during the period and a minimum of 50 new repeat blood donors every year. These repeat donors should have minimum of two ‘repeat’ donations during the period of consideration.
The club should conduct at least two blood donation camps in a year and maintain proper records as to the donors recruited, certified by concerned blood banks. Key days related to voluntary blood donation must be commemorated. The club should also have tried to promote voluntary blood donations among the students in the college.
