Finally, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar made an appearance on a music talent show “Star Voice of India”, on Star Plus, last Saturday. She gave away the winner’s trophy. Commenting on the legendary singer’s presence on the show, an overwhelmed producer and director of Star Voice of India, Gajendera Siingh, said: “It’s a great honour since it has been my life-long ambition to have Lataji endorse the show. Her acceptance, after 12 years of persuasion, is a dream-come-true. Despite her views on biased SMS voting by the public, she has agreed to be part of the event only because she strongly believes the show upholds the tradition of true music.”
