Lataji on talent show
Finally, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar made an appearance on a music talent show “Star Voice of India”, on Star Plus, last Saturday. She gave away the winner’s trophy. Commenting on the legendary singer’s presence on th
e show, an overwhelmed producer and director of Star Voice of India, Gajendera Siingh, said: “It’s a great honour since it has been my life-long ambition to have Lataji endorse the show. Her acceptance, after 12 years of persuasion, is a dream-come-true. Despite her views on biased SMS voting by the public, she has agreed to be part of the event only because she strongly believes the show upholds the tradition of true music.”
Going Dhak-Dhak!
Madhuri Dixit is said to be the most sensational dancer ever in modern Hindi cinema. There was nobody who could dance like Madhuri in Bollywood till she got married and settled in America. Now she makes a comeback with Yash Raj Films’ “Aa
ja Nachle”, directed by Anil Mehta. To promote the film, she worked her magic on TV viewers on the dance reality show, “Nach Baliye 3”, on Star Plus. Madhuri was accompanied by her co-stars from “Aaja Nachle”, Kunal Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma, as she cheered the participants of the show and gave tips on dancing. Part two of the episode will be aired next Friday (November 30), when “Aaja Nachle” is released!
