Targeting youth

In Tamil television, there is a rush to create the right mix for successful serials. At a time when women-oriented serials ruled, Vijay TV’s teenage school story “Kana Kaanum Kaalangal” broke the myth and suddenly television discove red an audience for youth serials. In the same genre is “Kadhalikka Neram Illai” on Vijay TV, Monday to Thursday, at 9 p.m. It is a simple love story involving two young professionals caught in the turmoil of life in Singapore.
