Radio Indigo, Black Dog and Max Mueller Bhavan have organised the Indigo and Blues International Jazz and Blues festival today and tomorrow.

Max Mueller Bhavan, the cultural partner of the festival, is bringing down the German jazz band Café du Sport.

The other bands that will perform include the Amit Heri Group, Gerard Machado Network, Junckt, Global Unity, Moon Arra, Barracuda Blues Band, Kaya Quartet, Chronic Blues, Matt Littlewood trio, Konarak Reddy and Bob Bonastre.

The festival will be held at the Jayamahal Palace Hotel, Miller’s Road between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. The tickets are priced at Rs. 1,100 (lounge), Rs. 550 (regular) and Rs. 775 (season regular). For details, log on to www.ticketpro.in.

Doodle Den is conducting a story-telling session on December 1 by Darius Sunawalla, followed by a theme craft activity for children of four years old and upwards from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Rs. 175. Smriti, a Hindustani Classical Concert will be held on December 1 in memory of Jayalakshmi R. Rao. The evening will feature a sitar recital by Nikhil S. Joshi. He will be accompanied by M.S.
