Five films to be screened during the three-day fest
|
To mark the opening of Indo-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the city, the International Cine Appreciation Forum is holding a Slovak Film Festival in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, New Delhi and the Indo-Slovak Chamb
er of Commerce and Industry, Chennai. The films will be screened from today till December 7 at the South Indian Film Chamber Theatre, Anna Salai.
The festival will be inaugurated by His Excellency Alexander Ilascik, Ambassador for Slovak Republic in India at 6.15 p.m. today. Actor Meera Vasudevan will be the guest of honour.
The films that will be shown include “Pacho, Brigand of Hybe” by Martin Tapak at 7 p.m. on December 5. “She Kept Crying For The Moon” by Stefan Uher at 6.15 p.m. and Rain Is Falling On Our Souls” by Vladimir Balco at 8 p.m. on December 6. On the last day, December 7, “The Fountain for Suzanne” by Dusan Rapos (6.15 p.m.) and “Sweet Troubles” (8 p.m.) will be screened.
