A flora art piece.
Mystique Designs has a bit of the contemporary, a bit of the natural and everything beautiful. This new store is different because the artefacts here are in their natural form- the most unique pieces being the ‘Flora Art’ pieces.
Flora Art is the unique and beautiful art form by which flowers like carnations, hibiscus and other greens fillers are arranged and preserved between sheets of fibre glass and crafted into products like lamps, wall hangings, hanging lamps, photo frames and mantle pieces.
Since the preservation process also includes vaccumising and sealing the arrangement, the flowers retain their colour and freshness and there is no scope of them ever wilting or drying out.
One part of the store is also home to semi precious jewellery. Colourful beads of different sizes of turquoise, tourmaline, garnets, peridot and rose quartz line the walls.

The fun part about Mystique Designs is that you can mix and match the beads and design your own jewellery and they will string it for you.
Some of the stones, shaped like dolphins and daisies are filled in little bowls, and can be used as fillers in the jewellery you design.
Many of these stones in colours that are difficult to find elsewhere. So a lime green outfit or a rose pink one can be matched to the jewellery here. Some less common stones, but even more beautiful that even precious stones are the green cats’ eye and the black agate.
The other natural products that you can find at Mystique Designs are an ice bucket made of coconut shell or a dried out banana leaf, shaped like a bowl.
