Well-known city choirs will present a concert on December 10 and 11

The Madras Christian College Alumni is back again with a concert to usher in the Christmas spirit for the 10th consecutive year. The concert will be held on December 10 and 11 at the MCC Higher Secondary School grounds, Chetput at 6.30 p.m.
It will be performed on a 70 X 30 foot stage and will be heard through a 10,000 watt sound system. The stage will be illuminated by powerful lights and the backdrop with glowing Christmas trees to create a festive atmosphere. Different styles of music, presented by some of the city’s best choral voices combined with the visual treat, will take the audience on a trip down memory lane to Christmas concerts of the past. The Madras Christian College Choir, Stella Maris College Choir, Sathya Music School, Harmonics, Canticles, Shishya School Choir, The Mellow Circle, St.Thomas Orthodox Cathedral Choir, and the Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School will perform on December 10.
The choirs performing on December 11 are the Women’s Christian College Choir, Lutheran Men’s Voice, Octet Cantabile, MCC Campus School Choir, Male Voice Ensemble, Emmanuel Methodist Church Choir, Academy of Music for Christ, Madras Christian College Matriculation Higher Secondary School Choir and the MCC Alumni Choir.
