Simbu turns priest!
Guess what Simbu is doing in the newly-launched film “Silambattam”? For the first time the actor plays the role of a temple priest, who, due to circumstances, is forced to take the law into his hands. He is doing the film for the prestigi
ous banner Lakshmi Movie Makers (LMM). It will be the 25th film for the production house. It is also cameraman Saravanan’s directorial debut. Shooting will take place in the temple towns in the South. The film will have a mix of classical songs, including a re-mix of the songs from “Thiruvilayadal”, and some hip-hop numbers tuned by Dheena. A new face from Mumbai, Sana Khan, is being introduced in “Silambattam”, which is due for release in the summer of 2008.
