Sapthak is organising a music programme at Havyaka Sabha Bhavan, Malleswaram on December 9 at 5.30 p.m. The concert will feature a vocal recital by Chaitanya Bhat, a student of Pandit Parmeshwar Hegde. The singer will be accompanied by Keshav Joshi o
n tabla, Madhusudhan Bhat on harmonium. This will be followed by a violin recital by Ratish Tagde from Mumbai. Trained by Sharathchandra Tagde, the violinist will be accompanied by Vishwanath Nakod.
Ritesh is also the winner of the Sursingar Sansad’s Surmani Award from Mumbai. He has also performed all over the country and his works have been released in cassettes and CDs. Chaitanya Hegde is the winner of the AIR National contest and has accompanied his teacher on many concerts.
