Back in the house

What next Season three takes off from the cliff-hanger ending of the last episode

Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning drama series, “House”, returns to AXN. The medical drama features actor Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House, a brilliant but anti-social doctor who leads a team of young diagnosticians at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital on investigations into puzzling medical conditions.

With the second season ending on a cliff hanger with Doctor House shot a number of times by a former patient’s husband, the third season throws up a number of interesting possibilities. Doctor House emerges alive from the near-fatal encounter and undergoes an experimental treatment which could cure the leg pain that has dogged him for years, one of the immediate causes of his caustic, abrasive bedside manner.

Season three of House kicks off on AXN at 11 p.m. on December 4.
