Dalrymple in town

William Dalrymple will deliver the second K.C. John Memorial Lecture



Historian cum author William Dalrymple

Author of ‘City of Djinns,’ ‘The White Mughals’ and ‘The Last Mughal,’ well-known historian and author William Dalrymple will be in the city to deliver the second K.C. John Memorial Lecture.

The lecture is being organised to mark the death anniversary of K.C. John, a noted journalist and one of the founders of the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club. It will be held at VJT Hall at 6 p.m. on December 10.

P. Vijaya Kumar, Head of the Department of English, Government College for Women, will introduce the speaker.
