Tanikella Bharani’s short film ‘Sira’ has been selected for the 10th Mumbai International Film Festival

There is bonhomie at Tanikella Bharani’s residence. A short Telugu film Sira, written and directed by this playwright-actor has been selected for the 10th Mumbai International Film Festival to be held between February 3 and 9
. While there are 16 Indian films in the ensuing film and video competition, this is the only Telugu film to have been selected. With 43 films in the fray, there will be an international jury judging the films. The festival is an initiation by MAMI – Mumbai Academy of Moving Images.
Versatility is Tanikella Bharani’s second name. A theatre personality, Tanikella has also evolved as a character artiste and has acted in different genres of films. His acting style and dialogue delivery have wowed the Telugu audiences.
For now, Tanikella is keeping his fingers crossed hoping Sira will be appreciated by the international jury members.
