Dance show rocks


The dance-based reality show, “Maanada Mayilaada”, produced and directed by veteran choreographer Kala on Kalaignar TV, is a clear winner with impressive TRPs. The show stands out for its smart packaging. The innovative special rounds and the observations made by the judges Kala and Brinda after each performance, have gone down well with the audiences. And the presence of celebrity judges such as Simran and now Namitha is an added attraction. In the coming weeks, the celebrity guest list includes actors Pooja and Priya Mani. Says Kala: “It is the support and freedom we enjoy at Kalaignar TV that made ‘Maanada Mayilada’ such a huge success. Our unit is like one big family and the bonding we share has made things easier.” It has paved the way for two more programmes — “Gana Kuyil Pattu” (Saturday 9 p.m.-10 p.m.) and the soon-to-be-aired “Aattam Paattam” for Kala on Kalaignar TV.
