Tradition lives on

Delite Diamond completes a year

This past week, Delite Diamond cinema hall completed its first anniversary. This 148-seater mini theatre is an extension of the main Delite cinema that draws crowds not only from Old Delhi but across the city, thanks to its vast parking space. Diamon d cinema is now gaining fame because of its almost royal approach to its interior design. Stained glass ceilings with a half-dome centre add to the appeal of the theatre, which celebrated its anniversary with pomp and gaiety. Adding to the colour were filmmaker Subhash Ghai and seasoned actor Anil Kapoor.

During the last one year, Delite Diamond has screened several popular films like Bhagam Bhag, Guru, Traffic Signal, Honeymoon Travels Private Limited, Cheeni Kum, Shivaji, Aap Ka Suroor, Harry Potter and Bhool Bhulaiyya.
