Priyanka has signed a three-film deal with UTV. Isn’t she trading her choice of script for a successful production house? “No, the deal has a clause which says I can back out if I don’t like the script. Also I haven’t blocked
dates.”Priyanka feels there is still a long way to go for the industry to function like Hollywood. “At the same time, I must say more and more actors are realising the economics of filmmaking, and my signing a deal with UTV is an example.”
Priyanka seems to be in action mode these days. Last year, we saw her doing karate in Don and now she is doing stunts in Drona. “In Drona I play Abhishek Bachchan’s bodyguard. After that there is Love Story 2050, and then there is the long-delayed God Tussi Great Ho, where I play a journalist.”
