Jodie Foster fans can now watch their star on PIX in the Inside The Actors Studio with James Lipton. Jodie is the youngest of four children born to Evelyn “Brandy” Foster. Born on November 19, 1962, under the name Alicia, she earned her &
#8220;proper” name when her siblings insisted upon Jodie.
A stage-mother supreme, Brandy Foster dragged her kids from one audition to another until she secured work for her son Buddy and daughter Jodie. Jodie landed her first role as the voice of Puggsley Addams in the popular 1970 cartoon series “The Adams Family”.
Foster is a two-time Academy Award-winning actor, director, and producer. She has also won two Golden Globes, three BAFTA awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She made her film debut in the 1970 TV movie “Menace on the Mountain” and made her directorial debut in 1991 with “Little Man Tate”, in which she also co-starred as the child’s mother.
