‘Funny, in parts’ (December 13) made for wonderful reading. Laughathon is indeed a worthwhile event for our city. There is greater need than ever for such gatherings, because many of us lead tension-filled lives.

‘Special siblings’ (December 6) throws light on the intricate relationship in families with special children. Parents of such children have a great responsibility in ensuring a harmonious environment at home.

‘An insight in to their lives’ (December 8) also deals with a similar and sensitive issue. The buzz word while dealing with the blind is support and not sympathy.

‘Over praised’ (December 10) offers sound advise to parents and teachers on praising children. It will be prudent to follow what the experts say.
