Movie magic


Vijay TV is not a major player in procuring satellite rights for Tamil films; still they aggressively promote new films. A special show on Kalloori, the latest release of director Balaji Saktivel, will be telecast from today, Dece mber 17, to December 20 at 10 p.m. Balaji Saktivel, whose debut film Kadhal was a huge hit, speaks about the making of Kalloori.

There will be delightful tidbits and anecdotes from the cast and crew. Akil and Tamanna, who play the lead in the film, produced by director Shankar, will also share their experiences in the programme titled “Kalloori – Oru sirappu paarvai”. Says R. Balachandran, vice-president, Vijay TV: “As a move to strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship we share with the Tamil film industry, Vijay TV has planned to give all the movies that will be released in the future a unique launch platform.”
