“Carols by Candlelight”on December 22 at St. Christopher’s College of Education

For the 47th year in succession the Madras Musical Association presents “Carols by Candlelight” on December 22, 6.30 p.m. at St. Christopher’s College of Education, 63, EVK Sampath Road, Vepery.
The unique feature of “Carols By Candlelight” is the community singing of carols with lighted candles by the audience and the participating choirs amidst electrical black out. The contribution carols have made to the spirit of Christmas is brought out during this time.
The concert will showcase the talents of 11 choirs and choral groups in the city doing two pieces of Christmas music before the singing of “Carols by Candlelight”.
The participating choirs are The Mellow Circle, The Lutheran Men’s Voice, The Canticles, The Gospel Quintet, Voyz Male, Organised Chaos, St. Thomas Orthodox Church choir, Emmanuel Methodist Church Choir, St. Louis Church Choir, The House of Prayer and the Choir of the Madras Musical Association.
The programme is open to all.
