Excess is bad

All parents love their children. Some express their love with money, some with articles. Some parents express their love in disguise, not direct. They show love indirectly but outwardly appear strict, harsh and disciplined. But, too much of love spoils children. It is true, some parents do not know what their children are doing (smoking, drinking, gambling and other bad habits). “Spare the rod, spoil the child” is an old saying. Indulgent parents truly spoil children. Parents should have an eye on their children. Most parents concentrate on their business or profession forgetting their children’s activities. This needs to be corrected.

R.Gopalakrishnan,

Madurai.
