There are two major Hindi releases. The first is Aamir Khan’s directorial debut “Taare Zameen Par”. It is said to be a brilliant film portraying a sensitive subject — the story of a dyslexic boy. Says Aamir: “It’s
an emotional story. It is only after going through the script, that I really considered acting in the film. Every home has a child; so let’s hope the audience appreciates this effort when it hits the theatres.” The other big release is writer-director Anees Bazmee’s “Welcome”, a comic caper about three Hong Kong-based mobsters (Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Feroze Khan), who want to get their sister (Katrina Kaif) married to a man (Akshay Kumar) from a respectable family. But, the young man’s uncle (Paresh Rawal) objects and then a stunning bombshell (Mallika Sherawat) claims that he (Akshay) is her husband!
