A new dance show that will have you swaying
|
The show that will have the world moving to a different beat, as dancers skilled in everything from ballroom and ballet to salsa and hip-hop compete to be named the best, will be aired on AXN.
“So You Think You Can Dance” is a dance reality TV programme and competition. The show held its auditions across the U.S., looking for top dancers in various cities. Contestants from all backgrounds and with any type of dancing style are encouraged to audition.
The dancers are put through gruelling rehearsals and auditions and slowly narrowed down to a top 20 list of 10 men and 10 women. These contestants are then paired up and must randomly pick a partnered dance.
Often it will not be a style they now, and learn it from scratch. Couples then perform the routine and America votes for its favourite couple. “So you think you can dance” is on AXN every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
