Bollywood

There were two major Hindi releases. Aamir Khan’s directorial debut “Taare Zameen Par” portrays a sensitive subject — dyslexia. Says Aamir: “It’s an emotional story. Every home has a child; so let’s hope the audience appreciates this effort.” The other big release was writer-director Anees Bazmee’s “Welcome”, a comic caper about three mobsters (Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Feroze Khan), who want to get their sister (Katrina Kaif) married to a man (Akshay Kumar) from a respectable family. But, the man’s uncle (Paresh Rawal) objects, and a bombshell (Mallika Sherawat) claims that Akshay is her husband!
