Polar Express on Monday, 11 a.m.
Rosebowl celebrates the year-end with a variety of programmes. The highlight of the programme menu is the ‘The complete Jam Session.’ Along with Bennet and the Band, it features popular singers such as Gayathri, Karthik, Shubha, Sayanora,
Kalyani, Kavalam Sreekumar, George Peter, Srinivas, Anuradha Sreeram and film celebrity Padmapriya. The Jam session will be on daily from December 22 to 31 at 9.30 p.m.
In the ‘Inspire’ series, veteran journalists T.N. Gopakumar, Leela Menon, John Brittas, Nikesh Kumar and M.G. Radhakrishnan speak on their life and career.
‘Hariharan in Concert’ will be re-telecast on December 25 at 11.30 p.m. and December 31 at 4.30 p.m.
Home Alone on Tuesday, 5 p.m.
Those who enjoy Bollywood flicks have a list of hits to look forward to. The films are ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye,’ Chalte halte’, ‘Omkara’ and ‘Dil Chahta hai.’ In the slot called ‘The Year End Matinee Premiers,’ on Saturdays at 1 p.m. comes ‘Oceans Eleven,’ ’Bourne Identity,’ ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,’ ‘Wedding Crashers,’ ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ ‘The Day after Tomorrow,’ ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘ Mr & Mrs Smith.’
In the ‘Nightshift,’ a mixture of classics, romantic comedies and thrillers will be telecast at 11 p.m. daily from December 22 to 31. The movie line-up includes ‘Hot Shots,’ ‘Scary Movie,’ and ‘Schindler’s list’ to name a few. Jim Carrey’s ‘Liar Liar’ will be telecast on December 22 at 1 p.m. and ‘Dumb and Dumber’ on December 29.
The movie for Christmas Eve is ‘Polar Express’ at 11 a.m. and the Christmas Day movie is ‘Home Alone’ at 5p.m.
