Christmas releases

Betting on ‘Kangaroo’ Pritiviraj and Kavya Madhavan play the lead in the film

Christmas is the second biggest festival season in Kerala after Onam, and the best time of the year to watch movies.

There are three big films releasing this weekend – Mohanlal’s comedy-cum-psychological thriller ‘Flash,’ directed by Sibi Malayil, who has made some classics (‘His Highness Abdullah,’ ‘Bharatham’ and ‘Kireedam’) with the master actor, then there is ‘Katha Parayumbol,’ in which Mammootty plays a superstar and bonds with his childhood friend, a barber, played by Sreenivasan, and Pritiviraj’s ‘Kangaroo,’ which is about the travails of an auto driver who has to take care of an abandoned baby!
