Discover Ladakh

Discovery Channel presents a show on Ladakh called ‘Ladakh – the Land of Passes.’ The first episode ‘Ladakh – Desert in the Skies’ was telecast on December 15. The second episode, ‘The Forbidden Wilderness,& #8217; to be telecast on December 29 at 8 p.m., highlights extraordinary occurrences in the least populated region of India. Ladakh is nestled between the mightiest mountain ranges in the world, the Karakoram in Northwest and the Himalayas in the South.

Produced by the Bedi Brothers, it successfully captures some unique sequences with the snow leopard and Tibetan lynx, perhaps photographed for the first time.
