Rallying to serve



SERVICE Maria Sharapova

The Chennai Open 2008 is all set to kick start but will serve a noble cause. IMG, in association with Rolex, the official time-keeper for the event, presents the Rolex Charity Evening, an auction of tennis memorabilia, autographed by the likes of Mar ia Sharapova, Roger Federer and others. The auction will be held on the eve of the sporting festival on December 30 at Hotel Taj Coromandel. The 13th edition of the Chennai Open 2008 will be organised at SDAT, Nungambakkam Tennis Stadium from December 31 till January 6. The proceeds will be donated to the Tanker Foundation and Balavidyalaya – School for Young Deaf Children. The Charity Evening will be hosted by tennis ace and Rolex Brand Ambassador, Vijay Amritraj.
