Sharmila Tagore on telly

To judge a reality music show


NDTV Imagine has managed to rope in Sharmila Tagore, former Bollywood queen and at present chief of the Censor Board, as a judge for its music reality show, “Dhoom Macha De”.

In musical company

Sharmila will judge the show along with ace music director Shankar Mahadevan and renowned lyricist and scriptwriter Prasoon Joshi. These eminent jury members, and public voting will adjudge the winner in the competition to uncover the country’s “Best LIVE Performer”.

About her new role, Sharmila Tagore said, “I am really excited to judge ‘Dhoom Macha De’. It’s something I haven’t done before and am really looking forward to it.”
